SAP (Substance Abuse Professionals)

1.   Minimum of a Master’s degree in a behavioral health discipline.

2.   Licensed/certified as a SAP in the state in which you practice.

3.   Minimum of 3 years of full-time, postgraduate clinical experience in the direct provision of mental health and/or chemical dependency services.

4.   Professional liability insurance, minimum of $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate.

5.   Availability of at least 10 hours per week for SAP services.

6.   At least 2 years’ experience providing SAP services on at least a half-time basis.
